This handout module has been developed to support the Linguistics in English Language Teaching course for undergraduate students in English Education. Rather than revisiting linguistic theories as isolated content, the module emphasizes how linguistic knowledge can be applied to understand learner language, analyze classroom interaction, evaluate teaching materials, and make informed pedagogical decisions.  

The sixteen sessions are designed to promote active learning through authentic classroom cases, collaborative discussion, problem-solving, and reflective practice. It is hoped that this module will help prospective English teachers develop the habit of making evidence-based instructional decisions and become more reflective language professionals.
